Something From Nothing and a little bit of Everything!

The art of turning "good junk" into "great design"

"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."

Have I ever told you that I am one spoiled girl. My father in law is a carpenter and he came to our house and helped with a few things. Also he built me a pantry that we desperately needed.
So we did finally get our cabinet doors!!! It took about 3months! Ya don't ask. Anyways we still needed some storage for our food and we really didn't want to have to extend our counter top anymore than we already have. So why not make a pantry shelf on the far left.
So he first framed and dry walled the pantry, it already looks amazing!
 Then he mudded it.
We used a closet door instead of a custom door for two reasons
#2 we didn't have enough time to wait for it to come in.
This update was one of the most useful and practical. It was so super cheap it was only $300.00 for the whole thing.
When we got a quote for our cabinet we asked how much a pantry would be and they said $1000.00!!! So we saved $700.00 because of my talented father in law!
